Formed in 2020 by duo Fernando Sandoval and Gareth Smit, MW brings together two decades of experience.
Trained in architecture at Universidad de Central de Caracas, Fernando Sandoval has been photographing large construction and development projects in New York City for over eight years. His background informs his approach to documenting construction at every stage, from initial demolition all the way through capturing beautiful finished spaces.
Creative producer Gareth Smit formed his career in documentary photography, shifting to larger scale production film and video work after ten years photographing for publications around the world including The New York Times, The Washington Post and The New Yorker. Gareth is an acomplished cinematographer, and has DP’d commercials and documentaries. Learn more about his work here.
